MAKING OF

EN

TRYSPACES results from the pooling of four research teams in Montreal, Mexico City, Paris, and Hanoi, joined by new researchers, partners, artists, and students.

TRYSPACES is a partnership conceived collaboratively through living labs that took place in Montreal and Hanoi in 2015-2016. This video tells this process of conceptualization and co-creation. It was made for the official launch of TRYSPACES by Jean-Addlaire Gaëtan (Coopérative Audiovisuelle G.T.S.), a TRYSPACES techno-artistic partner. The video combines audiovisual materials recorded at meetings which laid the groundwork for the project and served to develop the research partnership proposal that was submitted to the Social Sciences and Humanities Research Council of Canada (SSHRC).
