TRYSPACES is proud of the work and publications done by the students part of the partnership. Here is a recent publication about women as users and dealers of inhalants in the streets of Mexico city, in which Lorena Paredes from TRYMEXICO collaborated. The article was published in the International Journal of Drug Policy in January 2022.

“People who live on the streets in Mexico commonly use inhalants to induce psychoactive effects. Research on the distribution, sale, and consumption of these substances is scarce and mostly focuses on men, which limits the understanding of their use and possible public policies. Our ethnographic research concentrates on women who live and work on the street under marginalized conditions in Mexico City.”
