The transgression of adolescent girls in public spaces

Mireille Hébert, a student in urban sociology at INRS with TRYSPACES, participates in the “Moteur de recherche” program on Radio-Canada and talks about the doctoral research she is conducting on the relationship between adolescent girls in public spaces. “I look at where they go in the city, what places they frequent, what atmospheres compose these places […] I try to get out of the gendered stereotypes, and observe how it happens the dynamics between them?”
