In continuation of the previous outcomes from Tryspaces project, on June 21st, 2019, the research team from the National University of Civil Engineering held a meeting with the experts from Vietnam Academy of Science and Technology on the processing of GIS survey data. Based on the results of the first field survey of public spaces in five wards in Hanoi including Thuy Phuong, Sai Dong, Chuong Duong, Truong Dinh and My Dinh, the research team identified distinctive public spaces for more intensive investigations. Before stepping into the second phase of the field survey, the National University of Civil Engineering’s research group intended to promote interdisciplinary cooperation in order to disseminate the best research findings. The exchange meeting was very successful, as the two parties involved agreed on the way of cooperation and research orientation for the next phase. The members of both research groups expect that the cooperation will secure positive results, and these results will be published in specialized journals in Vietnam as well as abroad.
