HealthBridge is an international, non-profit, non-governmental organization that has been working since 1982 in Asia, Africa and the Americas.
HealthBridge Vietnam was a partner in the research partnership entitled “Youth-friendly Public Space in a Context of Rapid Urbanization” (Hanoi Youth Public Spaces) from 2013-2016. The results of this project have contributed to improve the development of public spaces in Vietnam.
As a Canadian NGO having worked in Vietnam since 1993, we have developed rich experience and expertise on policy advocacy and using research results to create policy changes in the Vietnamese context. By being a partner leading the advocacy component of the TRYSPACES project, we expect to bring this experience and expertise to facilitate the successful implementation of the project and, therefore, help to develop better public spaces for youth development in Vietnam. We also hope to share our Vietnamese experience to other partners undertaking similar work in the other cities of the project.
